The medical practice at Rothenbaum has implemented a thorough hygiene concept that allows to carry out Covid-19 Coronavirus testing (PCR swab test, mostly combined oro- and nasopharyngeal - throat and nose swab).

How to book a Covid-19 Coronavirus test:

• only with appointments, even at very short notice with same day testing

          - The easiest/quickest way is by phone call or to request an appointment via the contact form or e-mail

          - Ideally, members of the same household should book an appointment together, stating the number of people to be tested; the testing               then takes place together

• usually there's no waiting time to avoid contact times with other people
• the sampling takes place in a calm atmosphere after a medical consultation and, if necessary, a physical examination
• please bring and wear your face covering
• please fill in and send the personal data sheet below via email for all persons to be tested  

The test result is usually available within 12-24 hours and therefore mostly same day the sample was taken (depending on the time of presentation).

The Corona test aims in particular, but not exclusively, at testing the following groups:

• patients displaying symptoms of  a respiratory disease or a flu such as a cough, fever, headache, fatigue etc
• after an alert through Corona app
• pre & post travel
• persons in need of a certificate (e.g. for the employer etc)
  

For patients with symptoms or after an alert from the Corona app, the total costs of the test are usually covered in full by the health insurance companies. If a test is arranged at the employer's request, the employer usually bears the costs incurred, but it is absolutely recommended to clarify the assumption of costs with the employer prior to incurring the costs.
